Splash

Hi there! I am sharing a card today using the image called, Splash, by Mo's Digital Pencil.

Scrapbook card using Splash by Mo Manning, Copic markers and My Minds Eye paper by Danielle Copley

I have had her for awhile and thought it fitting to get get her on a card while we are in the month of April- April showers. Although, here in Southern California were are going through a drought. Maybe this will be a good luck charm to bring on the rain!

I have used an old MME paper pad: Indie Chic 'Nutmeg'. The flowers are my go to Wild Orchid Craft flowers and the enamel dots are from the Prima Princess Brads package. Another go-to embellie is seam binding which I have dyed with Wild Honey Distress Ink.

Copics:
Skin- E000,00,21,13, R20,22
Hair- E00,13,15,18,29
Yellow- Y11,15, E00,21,13

Thankful Card

Good morning! I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend!

Today I am sharing a card for Whimsy Stamps using my favorite Mini Chalkboards stamp set by SC Designs. I warned you I would use every stamp in this set! You can click on the following links to see my previous cards: Birthday Wishes, Home Sweet Home, True Love Whimsy Card

Thankful card, Vintage perfect for Thanksgiving using Maja Design papers for Scrapbook Maven

I have used some Autumnal papers by Maja Designs. I thought they would be perfect for this Thanksgiving inspired card and sentiment stamp. I got out my Viva Decor Pearl Pen and went to town to add some interest to the borders. The sketch is from Viva La Verve. I loved Laurie's card, so I took a lot of element ideas from hers like the torn paper that is sewn and the addition of vellum, although mine is not stamped.

I hope you like this series of cards. If you haven't checked it out, you should and while you're there put it in your shopping cart because it's a super sentiment set to have on hand!
Stay tuned for more cards using the set!

Mo's Monthly Blog Hop!!

It's time for another Mo's Dream Team Blog Hop!! Hop around and leave comments for a chance at some prizes while getting some wonderful inspiration! Our theme this month is 'Borders'. You should've come from Anneke's blog. If not, you can start at Jak's, the host of this hop!

I have used the image, My Friend, for my card.

I have used a scallop 'border' around my image and I love how the leaves on the image crawl up the fence like a border.

Here is a close-up of the image.
Don't forget to leave a comment to be in the running for a prize! Your next stop is Kaly.
Happy hopping!

Little Walker

Hello! I am back with my Mo's DT card to share! I am suffering from the flu, so it is a bit of a miracle I was able to get it done! I used the adorable Walker from Mo's Digital Pencil

Luckily I had this cutie colored up a few days ago, so all I had to do was the card base. I used Maja Vintage Spring papers and various embellies from my stash.

Birthday Wishes

Good morning! I have a quick share today of a card using the fabulous Mini Chalkboards by SC Designs of Whimsy Stamps! Have I mentioned before how much I love this set?
Vintage Whimsy Mini Chalkboard for Scrapbook Maven using Maja Design papers paper flowers

It's such a fast card compared to one with a colored image, but still takes thought  design-wise because there is no image to take the load, lol!

I used my Copic BV02, I believe, to color the background layers and the ribbon I threaded through the crochet lace. I haven't used rhinestone flourishes in a while and I really love them, so my mission with this card was to use one! I added some glitter glue around the sentiment for a little added detail.
The paper is Maja paper. I love how thick it is as it distresses so nicely with my scissors!

Let me know what you think!

Home Sweet Home

I'm back! Today I would like to share a card I made using the adorable Kansas by Mo's Digital Pencil, inspired by Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. I have also used one of the Mini Chalkboards 1 sentiment stamp set from Whimsy.

I have used Maja papers of course and beautiful flowers from Live and Love Crafts that I won a while back. I love the pop of red in this blue card and I had to glitter up her shoes to make them pop even more!
