It's a Sign

Today I am sharing with you my card for Mo's Dream Team. I have used the image, Girl with Sign, which you can find at Mo's Digital Pencil.
The paper is Prima's Almanac. The brackets and the typewriter were cut from the pad. I paper pieced the sign with a computer generated sentiment. I tried for a typewriter look, then added the key stamp from Prima, and popped it up on dimensionals at the top. The flower is also Prima. Can you tell I like Prima? lol
I went to town with some Shabby Pink Frantage, even got some in her hair, oops!

Copics
Skin: E000, 00, 11, R20
Hair: E51, 53, 55, 57, 59
Pink: R20, 22,35
Black: C3, 5, 7, 9

Thanks for looking!

Wee Witch

***Scroll down to see my Kenny K post with the new OMG Release***

Good morning again! I have my last post as a June Guest Designer for MarkerPop! :(  I have really enjoyed being a part of the MarkerPop! family this month. What a fun blog hop we had, right? Everyone did an amazing job and it was so fun reading everyone's lovely comments about Hedgie.

Anyways, on to my card! I have used the cutest witch ever, Hazel, from Wee Stamps. Sylvia Zet is an amazing artist!

I used an older paper pad by Carta Bella: All Hallow's Eve. I got out the amazing Cheery Lynn flourish again and cut out a gate with The Greeting Farm Gate. I cut the gate out twice: once with some off white paper from the pad and another time with black. I stacked them for a shadow effect to help make it pop off the page. I then popped them again with foam tape. It's a super fun die as I can cut it up like I did for this card or leave it whole for a different look. (I am excited to try both dies on some 12x12 layouts I have planned with which to decorate my daughter's room.) The dies are of a size that that makes them very versatile for different projects in my opinion.
I used Wild Orchid Craft flowers, of course, and some gauze I bought at the 99 cent store to finish it off.

I am super duper happy with this card. I seem to really like the purple cards I make. Not sure if it's the color or a coincidence, lol. I hope you all like my wee witch card as well and please leave comments if it strikes you, as I love to hear what you all think of my efforts!

Have a fantastic rest of your weekend!
Danielle:)

Kenny K's OMG Release!

Good morning! It is Team A's turn to start off a new challenge. It is everyone's favorite:
Anything Goes!

I hope to see a big turnout for this week.

Our sponsor is Kenny K Downloads.

The winner will get to choose 5 digis!

I used one of the gorgeous new OMG girls for my bookmark. I thought with her long and lean lines a bookmark would be perfect!
I used a My Mind's Eye paper pad and used the Tattered Florals die to make the flowers. I fluffed them up for the pic and added a little bling to the centers, but they lay nice and flat to fit in between book pages.

I think this would be a great bookmark for a teen or tween. Maybe it would even get them to read just a tad more...maybe?

Our wonderful Team A has more inspiration using the new OMG girls on the Kenny K blog. I hope you all find the time to join in this week: Anything Goes!!!

In a bit my last post as GDT for MarkerPop! will go live, so please come back and leave me some love, lol.

Mo's Dream Team Blog Hop of the Month- Paper Piecing

Once a month Mo's Dream Team gets together and creates special projects based on a theme to give a little inspiration!
This month the theme is Paper Piecing and Mina is our host this time around. So she is starting off the hop!

I must admit I have never paper pieced...ever! But, I have to say now that I've done it, I really like it! I chose to use Tall Cake for my image from Mo's Digital Pencil. I paper pieced her dress using a Jilly Bean paper pad called Blossom Soup. I colored her with my usual Copics and shaded the dress paper, too.
I used My Mind's Eye paper from the Love Me pad to decorate the card. I added some Wild Orchid flowers and stick pin for the sentiment, threw on some fabulous Frantage and this is what I got!

Your last stop is Kaly and don't forget to leave comments along the way as there is a couple of spot prizes on comments left to be won!!

If you get lost somewhere along the way here is the blog hop order:
Mina, Pops, Jak, Kerttu, Julie, Debby Y,, Heidy, Alice, Vili, Alexandra, Anneke, Danielle (you're here), Kaly

Please?

Hello all! I have my Mo's Dream Team card to share with you today. I have used another adorable and very expressive image called, 'Please' available to download at Mo's Digital Pencil.
I have used Wild Orchid Craft roses, Sweetheart blossoms, and a Cosmos daisy. I used some old paper from My Mind's Eye's Madison Avenue paper pad. I tried my hand at making some fun little pinwheels and tucked them behind the flowers. They are so easy to make; cut a square and make slits from the corners down close to the center and fold over every other corner to meet at the center! No need for a die! I added pearls to the centers for a little extra something. On the background paper I wanted to emphasize the crown, so I pulled back the layer covering it and added some glitter glue to the crown. I love that you can still see the word 'pretty' at the top and 'J'adore' at the bottom of the card. Perfect for a special little girl on a birthday or other special day!

The Copic markers I used are the same usual suspects:
Skirt- E70, 74, E57, E59
Top- R81, 83, 85, E11, Y11, Y15
Ground- W1, 3, 5

Say you like her, "Please"!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!
Danielle:)

Challenges I'd like to enter:

A Little Birdie Told Me

Today I am honored to be Guest Designier for June over on the MarkerPop! blog! For my first card this month I am sharing a card I made for a friend's birthday. She loves animals and soft colors.

I used Prima Madeline paper pad and Prima flowers from the Nature Garden collection. The Cherry blossom, Chrysanthemum and Sweetheart blossoms are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The gorgeous flourish is a Cheery Lynn flourish that you can find here. I made the tile with the butterfly and dyed the seam binding with Tattered Rose Distress Inks.

I used Copic markers to color my sweet Tiddly Inks image:

The clouds were done using a cloud template I made, Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and a sponge.

Bubbles

Happy weekend! I have a card to share I made for Mo's Dream Team blog using the super sweet Bubbles Girl which can be found at Mo's Digital Pencil!

I love how carefree and innocent she is. Mo Manning digis are amazing in how they can evoke such powerful feeling and movement in his drawings! This one reminds me to enjoy the everyday and not take life too seriously as we seem to do as we get older. I colored her up with Copic markers and used My Mind's Eye paper.
I thought to continue the bubble idea to my sentiment stamps. Not the exact words I wanted, but they were the best choice ones I had that fit nicely in the circles.
I used the Sketchy Girls sketch even though the challenge is closed just for a jumping off point. The photo makes the card have a weird hue. It's nicer in person. I need photo taking tips. If anyone has some, please, I need help!

Copic colors used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, R20
Hair: E51, E53, E57, E59
Clothes: Y11, Y15, E00, E11, E13
BG10, BG11, BG15
Wood: E00, E11, E13, E15, E18
Bubbles: BV31, RV000
